Liberated Movement

A MOVEMENT-CENTERED PATHWAY FOR CULTIVATING CARE, CONNECTION AND COLLECTIVE JOY.

Through dance, music, play, and embodied experiences, we create spaces where children, families, and communities cultivate wellbeing, strengthen relationships, and celebrate the joy of moving together while embodying the future we want to see.

It's as if the threads connecting us to the rest of the world were washed clean of preconceptions and fears. When you dance, you can enjoy the luxury of being you.

-Paulo Coelho

What is Liberated Movement?

At Little People’s Victory, we define Liberated Movement as the practice of connecting with ourselves, our communities and our cultures through joyful, embodied movement. This is one of the core pathways through which work to cultivate liberated community wellness

Liberation isn't only something we only work toward or fight for—it is something we can embrace and experience in our everyday lives. Likewise, movement has always been more than just physical movement. It is how we soothe our babies, celebrate milestones, preserve culture, grieve, strengthen relationships, praise, express emotion, and remember that joy belongs to all of us.

Through dance, music, play, and embodied experiences, we cultivate care for ourselves and one another, deepen connection across generations and communities, and reclaim collective joy as both a practice and a birthright.

Because liberation is not only something we work toward—It is also something we practice. Something we cultivate. Something we experience together.

Every time we move with intention, care for one another, celebrate our cultures, express ourselves freely, or build into one another's joy, we participate in cultivating liberated community wellness.
